Hoollly something, huge wall of text...maybe I got little too exited...X3''' anyways my application for:

Occupation: Want's to become a doctor but hasn't found the time to do that yet, works as a cleaner at the local hospital

Ability: Kouki is a master of wind magick and he uses it to heal wounds, cast strong barriers and fly. He doesn't have many attack spells and uses them only when needed, making the barriers trains lots of his energy and sometimes after a long mission Kouki can sleep several days to get his strenght back.

Personality: He is calm and gentle guy who doesn't speak much around strangers and some can easily misunderstand him. Most people laugh at the one who call's Kouki ”a gentle person” because many see him as a cold guy who will look down on you if you aren't kirin. Some people see him as a ”badass” because the way he dresses and his hair and disturbing golden/yellow eyes and are scared of talking to him.
He doesn't react to things as strongly as others would or at least he doesn't like to show it and stays cool and under controll even if he would be crying tears of blood inside and this sometimes makes things even worse, but Kouki doesn't have the habit of defending himself when people talk bad about him behind his back. ”They see me as they want to...I know what i am and thats all that matters...”
People should also remember that he was born in to a noble family and raised as one (to be broud and restrained) and he will act like one but that doesn't mean he looks down on others or is full of himself.
Around his friends he is more relaxed and smiles to those who are important to him and shares his reactions and thoughs with them, Kouki is a very loyal friend once you get his trust. He isn't the most open type of guy who will tell everything to his friends though, sometimes people need to fight the information out of Kouki when he refuses to speak and no mater how good friend you are to him, he will still hide something from you and keep secrets and if you happen to find out, Kouki will ignore your protests and say something like: ”This information does no good to you, you will live a happier life if you don't know. This conversation is over now...” ,or, ”This is to keep you safe, I didn't mean to hurt you but I am only thinking what is best for you...”, after this he doesn't talk about it and moves on.
One of his bad sides are worrying too much, belive it or not but Kouki can easily worry about his friend's broblems aswell as his own ones so you could say that he is always thinking about a solution to someone elses broblems. This usualy leads Kouki to stress out because he focuses so much about making his friends happier and forgets his own needs complitely but he hides it well and people usualy start to notice that something is wrong if he has been stressed for several weeks because he will start to lose controll over his stone face and will show his frustration more openly...
Sometimes Kouki just tryes too hard to take care of everything around him and survive on his own without debending on others but thankfully he has Tanzu, who will give Kouki a good wake-up slap when he goes too far...literally...
To those who are higher ranked or older than Kouki, he respects them and talks politely to them, he respects the ranking system.

History: Kouki was born in Japan, in to a respected kirin family whos clan leaders were known to be strong keepers and most of them had been guardians. And so had Koukis father and he always wanted his son to be the same. But when Kouki turned 7, his father noticed for his disapointment that his son was more gifted being a cleric and a healer, like his mother was than a guardian. After hearing that Kouki would never be a guardian his father started to take distance from Kouki and acted coldly towards him and never smiled or praised him.At first Kouki was confused and often asked why didn't his father love him anymore but eventualy gave up and accepted that his father didn't care about him anymore. Koukis mother could only watch from distance as his own son started to hate his own father more and more and even her. It pained her so much that she eventualy got sick, badly, Kouki was 10 at the time but he didn't have much warm feelings towards his parents anymore and he only waited for his horn to grow fully so that he could transform to his true form and leave, the Chancel was his only hope for a happier life now. Before leaving Kouki said to his parent's: ”You will see that not only guardians can be strong...” instead of goodbyes and left.

Koukis clan had one stight rule that everyone followed: Don't interfere with humans and their fights. Their clan followed blindly the Chancels orders and Kouki had never been around humans that much in his entire life and he felt more comfortable around other mythos and liked to spend time in his fated form instead of his sealed form. He spent most of his time training and had problems finding a good partner to himself. But then he got a mission with a very cheerfull nekomata named Tanzu. At first Kouki couldn't imagine himself being around someone like him, they were so difrent in many ways and the kirin didn't belive that Tanzu would be his future partner and either did Tanzu apareantly. The nekomata knew how ”boring” and silent person Kouki was and he acted carefully around him and seemed to hold his exitement inside him at first so that he would see what kind of guy Kouki really was and strangely got Kouki laugh with his weird poems and overcurios nature. This was the first time Kouki could say he was enjoying his time around others and at first it felt confusing. The mission didn't go as planed but it could have been worser, Tanzu found something shiny while they were in the midle of a fight and Kouki had to save him from being burned to ashes and somehow they managed to defeat the rogue mythos and return to Chancel. But even after the mission Kouki didn't belive that Tanzu would wan't to work with him after Kouki got little upset about the nekomatas behavior on the battlefield and scolded him. But the day after, Tanzu ran to Kouki and almoust pushed him down by clinging on to him while screaming something happily. After Kouki had managed to free himself and Tanzu stopped screaming and jumping around he asked: ”What's going on here...??”, thats when Tanzu flashed a broad grinn to Kouki and said; ”We are going to be the BEST team ever!! We are partners now, isn't that so cool!!?? Hehee, now I have two minions...!!”, ”.....*stare*...”, ”U-uh I-I mean now I have a new partner, hurayyy!”. Kouki couldn't belive it at first but after that day, he couldn't get away from Tanzu and the peacfull days were gone...

After getting himself a partner Kouki decited to buy a house and move down to live with humans so that he wouldn't feel so uncomfortable when he was in his sealed form and get to know how humans lived and so on. Tanzu was there too, of course, he seemed to be very popular among humans and was eager to teach Kouki how to flirt with girls and party. Kouki didn't enjoy this though, but somehow Tanzu always got him to go with them...

But he still couldn't leave his family complitely no mater how much he wished it, he was still too worried about his siblings, little brother and sister, Akio and Akemi (twins) and that turned out to be the only reason he still visited his family mansion so often. Now that Kouki refused to speak to his father had his parents desided that Koukis younger brother would be made the next clan leader instead of him. Of course Kouki didn't mind it and he promised to Akio that he would help him to become a good and respected leader. Akio himself didn't like this idea he feared that now that he was going to be the new clan leader instead of his older brother, Kouki would start to hate him aswell. But Kouki made it clear that he didn't mind it at all and accepted this complitely allthough he was jealous to Akio and Akemi, because they had been loved by their parents their entire life and even now too. Kouki never felt this love and he had alredy forgotten what it felt like to be loved and cared by his parents.

Other:
-Kouki loves traditions and often plays his koto when he is alone
-Has a big collection of cd's full of traditional Japanese music and songs
-Takes good care of his hair and skin, being clean is very important to him, this also applyes to his house: it's clean and organiced
-When it rains Kouki likes to switch off the lights and sit in a dark room near the window and listen to the rain. After it has stopped he goes outside and can sometimes take a little walk around town, he loves the fresh air after rain
-He can spend hours writing letters and documents to help his younger brother and then summons a spirit hawk who will deliver the letters for him
-Is always redy to heal injured keeppers and watchers, he has a Sacred Dagger mark hanging on his door, this is risky but Kouki is willing to take it
-Sees the world in black and white: rogue mythos are evil and they must be eliminated, the members of the Chancel are good and they can be trusted and humans must be protected
-Rarely questions the orders given to him, he will do almoust any job the Chancel gives to him
