Tom should be able to fly though time, space and even dimensions with his advanced vessel so i imagine he is his own dr who like character and other versions of himself exist. Knight Tom, Space Pirate or Bounty Hunter Tom but is he good or evil?

Toonami was an awesome channel that everyone and i grew up and it introduced us to anime, its also the only channel where its host would evolve over time during his misadventures and thats exactly what they where because Tom was reckless and stupid, furthermore he is the only channel character that got animated specials which i find weird, Fox channel has no mascot, Disney has Mickey but hes more than a host, hes a full time character. Cartoon Network, Nick and more dont have a mascot, but for whatever reason, Toonami wanted to make him special and they might have been exciting as a kid but it didnt age well, watching his adventures now is very mid and only got worse later on, even Tom himself had his share of good, bad and ugly ass forms. later he would meet more Toms out of no where or the current captain at the time was from another group that might have rivaled Toms original creator, but wait, when Tom was a pot belly bot, he already came from a um a alliance? idk. so kinda weird, perhaps Toms writers were being changed or were running out of ideas and had no fucking idea what they were fucking doing. Tom also had some games too, they sucked too. however in my head cannon, this Tom and the canon Toms are going back to his roots, i remember when he was a small pot belly droid, he was part of some kind of galactic federation, similar with buzz lightyear, idk the better name for it, there were others like him, i think a pink one too, i dont remember what he did before he took off, but he went off alone with only his ship navigator which he would have strange conversations and even argue like idiots and get into trouble on purpose. no. not the Tom i know and love. my Tom is smart, instead of traveling alone, he has a crew that we see sometimes but not always because he does still run into trouble and he cant face it alone, so he has small army and plenty of gear and weapons ready, the enemy can still over power him but no one should be alone, especially into the vast unknown, weapons and gear nearby at all times and placed everywhere for emergencies and quick charge.
Tom is well prepared for his endless journey, his navi and a crew joining him and at the ready to combat evil forces.
