WIP: fanart for Mass Effect. I love that game.This will be female Shepard, Tali and Kaiden. The characters are so awesome in this game. I'm on my second playthrough now, using Wrex this time instead of Tali. He's hilarious!
Just did the background so far, obviously. It was my first time really doing environmental art, and it was fun to push myself. Made my own reference using a whole bunch of NASA photos, mountain photos, etc. and tried to push the perspective/composition (which I probably could have pushed more, but I'm pretty new at this). I'll post all references used when I post the finished piece.
Painted from scratch using Photoshop CS2.
Mass Effect belongs to EA/Bioware, who also (literally and figuratively) own me.
EDIT: Probably going to start this fresh and push the perspective & composition more, so this will probably get moved to scraps eventually.

Aw, thanks so much! I lost a bit of drive for this when I realized how hard it was going to be to do three freaking characters, haha! I might scale it back a bit and give it another go. Mass Effect is awesome, and I'd love to put out more fanart for it. Thanks for the encouragement!
