I have to admit to being one of those people who heard her name and then got super confused when I found out how it was spelled, and pronounced it wrong in my head. The 'O' is silent- I know that now- but at the time I kept pronouncing the 'O' as well. Let me put it to you this way: The way I pronounced it at the time was almost correct, with the exception of the 'O' sound.

Then I realized the word 'phoenix' is the same way (which I too had trouble pronouncing before I heard it being said) and I don't complain about that.
Like you know the song Phoenix by Fall Out Boy? Okay, now imagine the 'O' isn't silent and pronounce 'phoenix' in the song as you're singing it.
" Hey young blood, doesn't it feel like our time is running out?
I'm gonna change you like a remix, then I'll raise you like a phOenix! "
Sounds weird, right?
And that's what I tell myself anytime I think of how it's spelled. Because 'PhOebe' doesn't quite roll of the tongue like 'Phoebe' does if you catch my drift.

But yup. Time for more HA! charart. I realized a bit too late that it looks rather similar to the Helga picture, but I didn't know what else to draw Phoebe doing. I don't know how well you can see it with how small it is, but she's holding a pencil and the book is a schoolbook. Y'know, those books you'd do your math n' stuff in.
Actually, I did have another drawing in mind for Phoebe, but it would involve a background and for me to rewatch the episode it'd reference (which I couldn't do with most of the show's seasons being taken off Hulu). It was something to do with the 'Phoebe Cheats' episode with the statue. It was also gonna reference something else because watching the episode kinda reminded me of said thing. Maybe I'll bring that back in the future. Like Gerald, I don't know what her eye color is, so I just went with brown (granted it's hard to see under the glasses lens). Speaking of which, other than the transparency on the lens and how hard it is to see the pupils is the only thing I don't like this time around. Everything else, I mostly kinda like.
