Oh my god, it's not a zelda art! I know, you'll all get pissy but hey I'm entitiled. I had this kickin around in my scetch book for months and I realy liked it so I coloured it for the heck of it...as somehting to do to avoid doing spirit temple. anyway...This is a cover for my nonexistent series/story/game idea called X Axis. The story line is about as nonexistent as the thing itseld but I made up this char so long ago and I still think he's cool. So far all I have is a random beginning...but the dude's name is Vyego, original I know and the Treader is Chysse. Pronounce it how you please, I don't care.
You can really tell this is mine in a lot of ways...white hair and white shirt with the Kyuumu ears...(well that's what I call them anyway) on the treader. but yeah all my chars have white hair...up untill lately anyway when i really tried hard to change some of them so brown and...brown...yeah i'm fun. wow...now this is waht you might call maundering...*reads the dictionary all english class as opposed to a free-read novel* I like that word!^^
So yeah, woot Vyego got a new char design! XD I'll shut up now as no one will care anyway.

it's taken from one yes...theres a quallope inspired thing in all my stories...dumb i know. And you spelled it bang on, I'm proud. I like this one because...because you can't see the eyes, it can be classified as 'not anime'...so woot for that....

That's just amazing. I just got photoshop and looking at this kind of amazing coloring just makes me jealous... I suck at photoshop. Not entirely, but I'm a genuine n00b

actually, i know no one would beleive this, i work on my story and my own characters way more often than i draw zelda. I mean I love zelda but most of the ideas come from my story, in a way i think of Keraph (my char) and link as one in the same. but link is for da and keraph is for home...that and ker is realy hard to draw properly. but i'm glad you appreciate original work, i always thought fan art fans were strictly fan art fans....

Never, I love original art, it shows that you don't only draw others ideas, but that you have a great potential in writing and drawing your own stories. so you can have people doing Fan art of your art. Plus your a kickass artist, I love all the lines you put on paper!

wow thanks! actualy, for the longest time i had a thing against drawing fan art...but by then i had already drawn link and thought and wrote about him so much that i had almost, in my mind made him my own character. i had changed him in a lot of ways and all. but yeah originality counts for sure! it's too bad i see so many artists out there who get fewer page views and all that jazz just cuz their chars aren't fan art and they are all original...so no one knows anything about them and thus dont care. but people liek things they can relate to or know a lot about, and that's where fan art gets all its attention...

sounds like me, except I know I can't draw my own characters, let alone anyone elses. I visualize them a certain way, but they come out like Pacaso got to em. Or me. Either way, they look messed up, and never the way they're supposed to. I still draw my original characters. And if people don't like em, thats their problem not mine. Fsck waht people think.

But I actually noticed myself paying more attention to fan art than original art. You have inspired me to try and look at the thought and imagination that went into original drawings and I will deffinetly start now. So thanks for that!^^

kinda like draw the body and then the clothes on top afterwards? (or not^^)i've heard of people doing that. I jsut do all the lines at once, once in a while draw an arm first but yeah...everbody's got their style

I always go head to toe, if not, for a really detailed sketch. I do body frame then hard lines.

Yeah I do eyes first, somtimes...now that i think about it...somtimes i do hair first if there are no eyes...but yeah, im always scared of underdrawing lines and stuff...
