Name: Amaris Moegi (she only uses that last name for fun)
Age: She's about 3001 (lol I know)
Gender: Female
Race: Shadow Demon

Her human form is roughly 19-26 years old she doesn't give a specific age because it's not her real one so she leaves people to assume. Amaris was a notorious criminal in Makai known as "The Devil In the Dark" but very few know what she looks like because she let her shadow devour any witnesses. Her race are considered cannibals who almost ate their own race into extinction and now there is the really low class demon shadow demons whose forms look just like black masses and 3 known major demons (Amaris and two males). Amaris herself can devour souls but they have a negative effect on her body in that it causes her to be ill so she doesn't do it too often unless she's in trouble. Her shadow is alive and at first she could not form her own and had to steal her great grandfather's who sealed his shadow away because of how monstrous it was. Eventually she was able to gain her own shadow and named it Mephisto. Amaris got tired of the life in the Netherworld and Makai and simply disappeared. She obtained a human form by some shady means (lol). Once in Ningenkai she got in trouble with Reikai and Amaris made a bargain that if they let her live in Ningenkai she would do missions for them whenever they needed some dirty work to be done. At some point she craved a family and with some assistance she was able to have her two sons Vero and Haku and prided herself in being a single mother. She found a love for the human art of cooking and became quite successful at it and even became a chef quickly. She started her own restaurant "Poison" and enjoys her life in Ningenkai. Naturally she still likes causing mischief.

Love Interest: She is in love with Sekke who she met before she obtained her title Devil in the Dark, he is a nightmare demon who is greatly feared because of atrocities he has caused. Regardless they are perfect for each other. She also likes harassing Kurama because she thinks it's funny to catch him off guard with her comments.

Her Heart: Right so for the stronger shadow apparitions they form a crystal that is their heart. They have the option of taking it out of their body since it is a major weakness for them since well it is their heart lol. Amaris' was taken out by her father and was lost for many years because it was traded and sold about as a treasure. A demon recognized that it was a heart of a shadow demon and he kept it so he could control her whenever she came around. Unfortunately for him the heart was stolen by Youko when he stole from his fortress.
Her heart can be absorbed into someone's body but for shadow demon's that is considered having a life mate so it is kept a secret so it isn't accidentally done. Sekke eventually got the heart himself and absorbed it with her permission of course.

Powers: She relies heavily on her shadow because of all that it can do. She uses it for travel, fighting, defending, cleaning (lol), basically everything. Amaris can also use swords and she can use the souls she devours (though of course the side effects cause her harm). Without her shadow she is a bit helpless and with strong light sources she has to use more of her swordsmanship.

Forms:
Demon form~ This is her regular demon form and her abilities are the same but her eyes are a constant aurora borealis of color since they change colors to make her feelings.
Devil Trigger~ This form is something she avoids because Mephisto and her become one being and she is not exactly in control of everything. When in this form she is cold hearted and will not show a shred of mercy and will slaughter without hesitation. The armor provides her with claws that are sharp and of course she can fly. When in this form she uses her claws, soul abilities (which affect her less), and blasts of energy. She cannot use her shadow abilities in this form because she has no shadow technically since she merged with it. She only uses this in desperate situations but there are times when she can be forced into it. The only way she could obtain control over this form is through strict training but it would be very unpleasant.
