Today's Tuesday...it was Sunday afternoon when I was sketching in my sketchbook. I was on my third attempt of drawing a specific moment from an SP ep; hopefully you might see that eventually get done.

Then, I was hit with the cutest idea. So on another page, I sketched Terrance with his arms full of Stan and Kyle. Then I had to figure out how to get the other three in there...the problem with that was that I'd imagine Cartman might be too heavy to hold in one arm. So after thinking about what to do there for a bit, I decided to just go ahead and do that. The scene here is intended to be a brief pose for a photo, so I think it'd be OK. (note: hard to see--he's clinging to his shirt)

That drawing was really small; so I eyeballed and drew it much bigger on another piece of paper. After going over the outline with a black marker and erasing the sketch, I noticed something that bugged me. The boys' expressions are incredibly Disney-like. But, that wasn't troubling enough to warrant another re-draw.

So Monday (Monday and Wednesday are really busy days for me), I was Hell-bent on coloring and completely finishing this. Figured I better draw whatever I want to draw as much as I can before I get buried with papers and art projects (it's inevitable ). I spent nearly all my free time that day doing this, finished late at night, and am very pleased.

And of course, blargh things: Arms look gummy, and other things like that I find hard to explain here.

There seriously needs to be more Terrance and Phillip art on DA.
