Description Indigo Bunting
Turkey Run State Park, IN

I'm not as happy with this shot as I should be I think. I just don't like that the bird is in the center!!! Post processing has remedied the problem a little bit, but I still am not totally happy with the fact that I shot the subject dead center! (I thought I was done with that....ack)

does it? How funny! So it's a bluish-purple pregnant male bird!

It\'s not always a bad thing to shoot your subject in the middle. This shot doesn\'t suffer too much because of it, although I would have preferred it to be a little to the left.

and maybe down a bit as well. ah well that's what post-processing is for!

Very nice capture. These little guys are beyond blue, aren't they? You just gotta love 'em.

Lovely shot, and the darkened frames on the bottom and top make it more striking. I love nature shots because there is always so much attention that needs to be paid.

Despite what you say about putting the subject dead-center, this is an awesome photo. Separating the top and bottom stretches it out a bit - makes it look at least a bit wider. If you're still bothered by the center subject, you could just crop it down...

lol I failed at cropping this one, so it got the burn out treatment instead! Thanks for watching me btw!

Well, it's a beautiful shot, and an ideal candidate for cropping, if you want to move the birdie out of the center.

You know what they say...try, try again. The nice thing about digital is that it's non-destructive and quick
