Another style attempt using one of my guinea pigs, Alex. WITH A NEW CHARACTER DESIGN! :3I did this pretty much all in one layer with no guidelines. It still looks meh though.
Oh well.

I changed his jersey color to red(although I might change it) and his jacket color to blue.
Also, his jeans are a grey, khaki-ish color so yeah.

To be honest, I'm starting to get annoyed by critiques. I'm well aware that I'm not a perfect artist and I'm far from professional, but it's starting to look like you guys are just nitpicking every little mistake I make in my drawings. I also know that it's used to help artists "improve" in their drawings, but really, I see most of these critiques as nitpicking rather than actual critiques.... At least try to red line my works or something to help fix the anatomy rather than saying "it's wrong" and not telling me why.
Look, I'm trying my best to make my anatomy as accurate as possible. I'm studying realism and all of that wonderful stuff. It's not as easy as you think it is, especially when trying to draw a dynamic pose. It's REALLY hard to find good dynamic pose references. So I'm like, why not? Let's try out a dynamic pose to see if it fits. I try every method possible in hopes of getting the anatomy right for hours just to have someone say "it's off!".
I know this is the internet, but still. <.< I guess in order to not start any flame wars or arguements over my disagreement with critiques I might as well start disabling comments until I get to a level that isn't as obvious when it comes to flaws.
Oh well. You know what they say: "You can't win them all."

I could think that you're overreacting, but considering you have high-standards, I can see why you're annoyed.
And note I never said it was an easy task to try real anatomy...I've tried it myself and it's quite hard at times.
Whatever suits you... I don't want to talk with you being hot-headed, anyway, as it can give us both a bad moment

True. I have very high standards. I hate it when my work in general isn't up to where it's supposed to be. I CAN take critiques if they're detailed enough, like where the artist tells me why it's wrong and how I can fix it, but when it's just straight up "There's something wrong with ___" without telling me how to fix it, it just gets a little annoying. :C
It is hard, which is why I'm studying realism and taking art classes. I feel that drawing pictures from magazines doesn't help much... or maybe I'm not doing it enough.

My style is cartoony. It's just toward the realistic cartoony.
But then again... all cartoons even the simple ones need a basis in reality, so you're still not safe if you draw cartoons and say it's okay to mess up the anatomy.
