SO
I have a Werewolf Hunter AU for Maelstrom now in which Trenton is a werewolf hunter, but instead of hunting and killing them, he was helping them control their beast side and recover their humanity so that they wouldn’t attack people. I posted a gigantic, rambling post about the world and stuff on my tumblr that you can read at your own discretion. It is long.

This actually seems to be one of the best AU's!!! I really like how it's balanced. It's actually replaced the Spy AU as my favorite. (that's saying a lot

WOW!! Thank you!!! :0 I feel like the development for it has come really easy (and I'm very excited about it, so that helps lol), while the Spy AU is a little more all over the place since I don't have a solid story for it as of yet. ^_^;

Yus! I feel like the AUs give me a chance to explore different aspects of the characters, which is good for development for the story proper!

Such a freaking cool idea! I really hope he's not hunting down Haddock! I love the gleam of his cigarette and how the burning light catches the edge of his knife too! I love your use of monochrome here too, it only adds to the drama of the pose and the deadly glare on Trenton's face- I wouldn't want to cross him on a dark and stormy night!

Oh gosh I love the greyscale tones broken up by that subtle red, it makes for a pretty striking image overall, like he’s sneaking into a crypt (and all supernatural creatures around will smell the scent of smoke and know exactly where he is lol), which may be a good thing if he’s trying to help them

Depends on if those werewolves like ciggies or not in their human form, they might just run off choking on the fumes! lol

Unless the cigarettes are special and contain something like wolfsbane or powdered silver lol *puffs fumes at the bad ones*, or allow him to see in the dark or heighten his senses like Witcher potions do *'cat' and 'thunderbolt' all the way to the kill*

This idea is awesome! But I can't help but think of this when I hear of Trenton fighting a werewolf. LOL
I like that he's trying to help them subdue their wolf side. Getting the person to understand that he's here to help is not going to be an easy task.

Oh awesome outfit! This is a very interesting concept for a story having someone attempt to save the werewolves instead of just killing them. I guess Trenton can tell if it's a baddy if the wolfy enjoys killing and maiming.

That was a rather long read but I did read most of it.
I think my werewolves are a bit less likely to kill someone, but they can still do it if they hate the person. I figure they aren't as likely to give into the wolf side, unless the human side is so upset by the shift the human side goes catatonic, which terrifies the wolf side and makes it lash out. However, since werewolves are a separate species, a human bitten by a werewolf is a halfblood, and a human bitten by a human turned werewolf is a quarterblood. A quarterblood's bite won't turn someone into a wolf, but it might immunize a non-bitten person from vampire and werewolf bites.
