Sadly I have only seen the movie

I highly recommend you the books! You'll have a good laugh, they are unbelievably humorous, and the illustrations are great as well! Surely they are on of the most thrilling books I've read in quite a while! They are quite dfferent from the movie, but are easy to read and really entertaining.
