The safety cone shirt makes me laugh, for that one acquaintance of mine who said safety cones were herd animals (thus why they are always seen together). He would bring any lonely ones he found back to the group home he lived in, where the living room was orange and they could again be with a herd.
....haven't seen him in YEARS.
I think Banshee would be totally down with this theory.

That is awesome. I'd have a hard time living with an orange living room, though, dang.
A friend of mine routinely takes them off the street and does things with them - we made our Christmas tree with one one year. Another she and a friend took to the ocean because it needed to be 'set free'. And the last one we covered in the words 'chicken' and 'hello' in about 15 languages and left with a hastily drawn smile in the center of our local mall's food court. There are pictures of this.
People who enjoy safety cones are usually fun people, so Banshee felt like a good contender to own a shirt with one.

Ha, it's cool. You have a while to catch up since I'm probably not going to be able to update anything related to it for a long time while I run around with this school business. *insert something clever about decapitated chickens*

TMBG lyrics + Banshee = win. In case you were wondering, faux-mathematically speaking, why this is so awesome. I always got (and indeed still get) strange mental images listening to some of their songs, but I'll admit I never imagined those lyrics quite like this.
Is that watercolour? I'm extremely fond of the colouring. Perhaps overfond, in fact.
Also, the more elevated hand. I love it.
Criticism just eludes me for this piece, as I am overwhelmed by how much I like it and cannot see past that.

It is watercolor, yeah. I actually stopped doing my homework (watercolor), complained about how much I hate it, and then did this (watercolor).

I tend to do the same sort of thing. Generally, it's along the lines of "Goddamn this inking I hate it so bloody much!" And then I promptly go ink something else. (BECAUSE INKING IS ALL I CAN DO, LOL.)
Occasionally, I will declare hatred for acrylic painting, than as soon as I'm done with the painting that inspired the hatred, I want to start another. Vicious cycles, every one of them. (I've not gotten my hands on real canvas OR canvasboard in ages- by which I mean over 6 months-, though, and none of my paper would do well with acrylics, if I even had any to use. I just kind of mooch painting supplies from friends and teachers, which I'm thinking might be a bad thing if I make a habit of it.)
...because you needed to hear about my artistic issues, I'm sure. WTF. Sorry, LYX.

Ha,it's all good. I do the same things. When I finished a doll for Crow with rooted hair, I swore I'd never do it again but sometimes, it's all I want to do.

Okay.

she ended up with all the jewelry of the people Ive drawn recently. The Screwdriver is sort of Euro's jewelry, so I went with it. She's got June's shell necklace, and the necklace I put on Moz's Hector and most of the crap that ends up on Johnny's wrists. Some of Edgar's stitches, as well, actually.
