PLEASE FULL VIEW! This is the first serious work from me in awhile.

There are some things you look at in life and say "Wow, I put way too much effort into this." This is one of those things. I used ~Banditzjing 's uncolored lineart and decided it was time to practice CG coloring and take my digital skills to the next level while I had some time off from volunteer work on the weekend. It's definitely the best coloring I've done so far. Very surprising. I learned a lot of valuable techniques, like making petal brushes, better CG coloring, and layer masking.

I made her blonde sorta as a joke because, in most Japanese anime, the characters (even ninjas) don't look Japanese. A good example is Ino from Naruto. And I colored her outfit magenta to annoy ~DeLesslin , who claims magenta doesn't exist. I added the kanji character for "cherry blossom" and the petals to give her the picture a more beautiful/traditional feel. The striped background was done using a noise gradient I made by accident. Whoo-hoo.

I sorta hurried it up at the end because I reaaaally wanted to finish it today. I love how the hair and eyes turned out. The clothes are...okay. The background is kind of annoying and pretty at the same time.
