here's Raph! I've been wanting to make some turtles stuff for a while but never seem to find the time...I grew up with these guys and I realize from time to time how much it has influenced me as an artist. In this one, I played around with my experiences from 20 years of Turtle drawing and what started out as a sketch for 3D became something very close to a self portrait. Yep, in a way, that turtle in the picture is me, daydreaming myself away.

thanks! I was going for something like that... i never quite understood why they look the way they do. a real mutated turtle would surely be different!!
