Getting some ideas on paper. I got a free piece of artboard at Stumptown in Portland and wanted to use it for a proper piece. Very happy with it and it looks even better in real life.Related content

It was fun, took awhile, but it was one of those works where it just feels right as its all coming together. Even though most of the pencils I was drawing while teaching an eight grade class, ha ha. So it was back and forth, back and forth.

I never thought much about paper before, but if you're doing a full work like this one it does become pretty important. Usually if I'm just shading or doing a wash it doesn't matter.
