Challenge 2: Silent Statement

Upon completing the first challenge, we have established a dialogue that raises a prominent question in fashion today: Is less more?

Your challenge is to create a five-piece collection of minimalist looks that are bound by four underlying themes:

- Minimalism
- Easiness
- X (You chose another theme, such as Victorian or military)
- You as a designer

With a challenge that demands simplicity, it’s best to focus on illustration, subtlety, and innovative (yet pragmatic) concept. Make sure to know your fabrics.

Titled "Garden Party" this was inspired by the lovely plants growing in my yard.
From Right to left.

"Hosta" Cotton Jersey knit top with cotten sateen skirt. This dress dyed ombre style to accuate the waist.

"Cut grass" Lycra/spandex swimsuit, with low cut legs. Rayon chiffon coverup with kimono style nickline .

"Magnolia" Texturized silk knit blouse with peterpan collar. Natural slub linnen capris.

"Viola" Silk tafeta, ombre dyed, with integrated crop, also silk. Fully lined.

"Clover" Cotton rib knit halter with portrait collar. White linnen pants.

Again, sorry fpr the poor coloring, i'm going to try to color this with pencils and see if i can do a better job.

I love the dress to the far left.
You could substitute that green with any color. White looks good with anything.
I'd sooo buy it if you got that on the market.
