When I'm off on my trips I take a lot of photographs that you never get to see. I regard them as kind of out-takes but I keep the ones I like. Basically just not landscapes which is what I really go for. As we have so much time together at the moment I thought I would share some of them with you. This was taken at Mallaig in the Scottish Highlands. This is in the harbour. Mallaig is a very busy port.ΒRelated content

Very different from the graceful sweeping scenes in the Isle of Skye for sure but this is a great photo all the same. It reminds me of the Great Wave of Hokusai in that it represents man's struggle to tame the sea and the constant struggle it involves.
