I am sort of addicted to the Sookie Stackhouse books. I was listening to Definitely Dead audiobook while I was drawing Eric and Sookie. They are my favourite couple in the books, but I don't like the tv-version of Eric that much. He seems too mean in the tv series.
I like True Blood as well and can't wait for the third season. I think of the books and tv series as a separate think, because I pictured the characters a lot differently. However, Lafayette, Terry and Andy seem to be perfect for the role. According to the book Lafayette should be dead, but I would like it if he stuck around for a bit longer

I LOVE this so much! OMG. They are also my favorite couple. I feel bad that bill wont get his "happily ever after" if they end up together. I dont know about you but i have completely separated the books and the series and i LOVE both!

I just reread the series. When i first read dead in the family i remember being disappointed...now i remember why, there wasn't much lovins lol but it was nice to see the ...deepening?...of that relationship, though it should have ended with a kiss instead of him just leaving. i want it to be march..now.

I read all the books twice and I quite enjoyed the part when Eric was really puzzled about what happened when his memory was messed up..and when he truly remembered the shower scene and everything..I like all the books and the way the story evolves..don't really remember the tenth book for some reason, but I guess I was quite satisfied with it

the blood is looking good, not often in black and white combinations people get it to look translucent - beautiful painting

love the work, I have to agree with you the tv eric (who visually I think fits the part to a T) is too mean. In the books he's more confused, amused and generally just curious over sookie. The tv one not so much. Again, great work. I love the very slim use of color to emphasize the point. You nailed Eric's eyes and the way the shadow shapes his face really drives home the point he can be menacing.
