Blaine had no memories of ever being that drunk before, which probably made sense since he usually never remembered when he was doing while being intoxicated, this time around tough, he remembered. Actually he didn’t really remember it but he remembered Kurt’s pained face when he danced with others and how frightened Kurt had been when he was about to force himself upon his sober boyfriend. He felt like crap about it and Sebastian, his former friend, who’d talked them into going to the bar with him had gotten exactly what he wanted, an argument between Kurt and Blaine.

Sebastian had been Blaine’s best friend on is old school until he had started acting weird and kept hitting on Blaine who clearly didn’t want anything but a friendship. Sebastian was at a vacation in Lima and was now trying to get in between Blaine and Kurt but neither of them would let him do so.

Blaine knew that he had to call Kurt and apologize, or maybe, he should just go to Kurt’s place, also to let him know that Blaine was fine after walking home the night before.
Blaine had a great life at the moment, or he had before the trip to Scandals at least. He had to restore that or he wouldn’t know how to live on.

He ignored his nagging headache and quickly took a shower. He got dressed and within an hour from waking up, he was standing outside the Hummel-Hudson’s house, unsure if he should knock the door or leave.

He knocked.

Carole opened the door and sent him a warm smile, it didn’t seem like Kurt had shown that he was upset the evening before since both her and Burt smiled at him, saying good morning and telling Blaine that Kurt was still in his room, probably asleep. He nodded with a forced smile before he climbed the stairs and ran to Kurt’s room, knocking twice before opening the door.

Kurt was fast asleep, hugging a pillow tightly, with tear-stained cheeks and puffy eyes. Blaine felt guilty about it, but decided not to wake his boyfriend up. He sat down on Kurt’s armchair and began quietly humming to himself before he started singing unconsciously.

“Oh this has gotta be the good life, this has gotta be the good life, this could really be a good life, good life” he sang not noticing Kurt waking up, and looking at his boyfriend in disbelieve. Tears welled up in Kurt’s eyes and he smiled softly
“I love you so much” he whispered, Blaine stopped singing and smiled at his boyfriend.
“I’m so sorry about last night, Kurt, I love you too” he whispered.
Kurt smiled again and motioned for Blaine to join him on the bed “It is a good life, Blaine” he murmured kissed his boyfriend’s cheek softly.
