Dan's POV

Freedom! Finally!

Summer break had finally arrived and I was going to enjoy it, party, drink, sleep, sleep, sleep and drink some more!

I was supposed to meet up with this girl at the cinema so that’s where I was heading, but the fact is, I really didn’t want to, like, not at all.
I’ve dated LOTS of girls, but I’ve never felt anything towards them, not even once, I hadn’t met the right one yet, I guess?
My problem with girls didn’t mean that I was still virgin, hell no, I enjoyed myself, maybe a bit too much, but nah, nobody cared about it anyways.

I wasn’t far away from the movies now, maybe I should just dump her at the entrance and go watch a movie for myself? Girls ruined the movies way too often anyways, they didn’t understand ‘shut up’, IT WAS SO ANNOYING!
I really loved the movie world, it’d been a dream of mine since I was little, to be the main character on the screen, people appreciating my skills and looks, people caring about me.

As you can probably guess from my crazy babbling, not that many people cared about me, my parents was too busy working their asses off and girls only wanted to spend time with me cause I was ‘hawt’ in their eyes, I didn’t get them though, calling me ‘hawt’? Girls are weird.

At one point I found myself at the cinema, and before I got any chance to escape, she came running towards me, her ugly dyed blond hair in a ponytail, swinging all over, her brown eyes were shining, probably with lust, every girl I dated knew that I was a easy bang, some kind of man-whore.

“Hey dishy!” She shouted at me, I mean literally.
She grabbed my arm and sticked to it, refusing to let go “soooo, I wanna watch Inception!” oh hell no, I wasn’t going to let her ruin a movie like that with her blabbering!

“C’mon Dan! Let’s get this over with and have some fun later” she said winking at me and pulling me towards the ticket window, I let out a sight, this was going be some really unpleasant hours, watching a movie getting ruined, at least I could have some fun later.
“Sure thing babe” I said in a seducing voice and winked back at her, hiding my true feelings, I really didn’t want to be with her at the moment.

She was literally jumping around when we finally reached the ticket window, how could she allow herself to act like that? I mean, really?

“Two tickets to ‘Inception’!” She told the man behind the glass and disk, still sticking to my arm like some sort of annoying duck tape, talking and shouting duck tape.

“Where in the cinema would you like to sit?” The man answered, I hadn’t been looking at him before, but when he spoke, I raised my eyes and was shocked, he was... gorgeous?
Raven black hair and shining blue eyes, he had this really intoxicating voice, deep and smooth, he was a bit shorter than me I guess, but for some few seconds, he made me rethink my sexuality.

I realised that I had to answer him, I was just staring like some sort of freak, oops.
“Ohm... oh, I, no we, nothing, we don’t need the tickets” I stuttered, the girl by my side - what was her name again? - glared at me “what do you mean Dan?! You don’t wanna watch a movie with me?” she yelled, great, everybody was staring at us now.
“Sorry baby, you’re too loud,” I said and winked at her, she let go of my arm with an offended grimace showed at her face, a face with waaaay to much make-up.

I nodded at the guy behind the window, turned around and started walking towards the door, I should’ve asked for a single ticket, I thought as I left the cinema, I would’ve loved to watch Inception...

I couldn’t get that guy out of my head, what was the matter with me? It’s not like I’m gay or anything, why did he fill my mind then?

I buried my hands deep in my pockets and stared at the ground, why did I decide to leave the movies?! I could’ve been watching ‘Inception’ right now, I surely was an idiot.

My mind flew to the guy again, what was wrong with me? I’d actually thought a guy was gorgeous, no, he was more than that, he was beautiful, those eyes, wow.
I had to mentally kick myself, he was a guy god dammit, a guy, not a girl, not beautiful or gorgeous.
I kept on telling myself while making my way home, I didn’t find him gorgeous, I didn’t find him beautiful.

I was lying to myself.
