Pretty nice overall. I like the background treatment a lot, in particular. Pose is balanced, but some of the particulars could be stronger.
It's odd that his ear is thicker on the top than it is on the bottom, might want to be conscious of that.
Hands are decent, which is nice to see, don't be afraid of those. His left armpit is a bit strange. With his arm raised like that, the outer line of the pectoral ought to be bordering the armpit instead of sweeping back up toward his collarbone. The forearm shape of the raised arm is quite nice.
On his lowered arm, a lof of these shapes are a bit vague. I think we're missing some definition at the deltoid/bicep crossing, as the deltoid shouldn't 'bite into' the bicep like that. The forearm on this arm doesn't have any indication of the twist that would be present with his hand posed like that. The radius (the bone connecting the outer side of the elbow with the thumb-side of the hand) and the ulna (which connects the inner side of the elbow with the pinky-side of the hand) are crossed over each other here, so some twist ought to be evident.
Lastly, the clothes are a bit inconsistent. On the shirt for example, we have nearly painted-on tightness indicated most of the way down, but with a loose edge around the hips. You'd be better off to draw the folds sweeping tightly around the body right to and including that edge. Likewise the folds from the crotch of the pants don't appear to be going anywhere. A fold in fabric is usually going from one point to another - in pants a crotch fold often goes to a knee, or to a bend in a hip.
Overall this piece is pretty good. I think that it says something that I'm picking on small anatomical and drapery details rather than broad things like proportion and balance.
