Description More of my fantasy statuary appears in this gallery:

This is a cast plaster unicorn that I found in a secondhand shop in the middle of nowhere. It had no horn. There were several chips in it. It also had a big cavity in its center where the mold had not been completely filled. On top of this it actually had dirt and moss growing on it after being in a garden as a lawn ornament.

After cleaning it and drying it in an oven, I filled in the holes with urythane foam, Bondo and epoxy putty. I drilled out the plaster eyes and replaced them with blue fiberoptic glass beads. On their sides, the beads look like goats eyes.

I turned an icicle Christmas ornament into a new horn. Over this is grey primer, hammered bronze and satin gold spray paint.

Great work! How big is it? It would be cool to see the before and after on restoration projects.

It was about 75 cm long. It was bare concrete that still had dead moss on it.
