This is fantastic! So very well done. I think my favorite details would be the embroidery of the logo and her shrug (is that what it would be called? a futuristic shrug?), how jaunty her hair is, and the fact that the suit patterning doesn't look flat.
I'm not a Miranda fan, personally, but I am a fan of how she comes off in this picture and just how well its done. Relaxed, ready to kill, perfectly accepting of this, and just a touch coy. ♥

There's nothing sexier than a woman that can kick your ass. And Mass Effect has not been short on these women. I didn't like her at first because she was all bitchy and uptight, then as the game progressed, I found she was a hell of a character and I love how she sticks it to the Illusive Man if you bring her along on the final part of the suicide mission.

Yep, I was the same way. She grew on me through the game, although I didn't know about her big F-you to the Illusive Man until later because I never took her on the suicide mission. I replayed it recently though just to see it, haha.

Thanks for this very beautiful piece of fan art. While you hit Miranda herself nicely, I have to say the pose is too sexualized - which it perhaps wouldn't be if we could see what she's leaning her elbow on, and what supports her right foot. The enlarged part in the lower half is perfect. As for tempation, we Miranda fans are already far beyond that.

Your comment comes off as someone who is tired of being pegged as a slavering Miranda fanboy who must only like her for her bod, right? While I can see where that's irritating, your whole comment almost comes off as holier-than-thou. "As for tempation, we Miranda fans are already far beyond that." Was that even necessary? Maybe you didn't mean it to sound so deprecating, but it did.
If you saw what she was leaning on, it would defeat the purpose of this being a wallpaper. Maybe *yatenkou can do a non-wallpaper version some day, but this is one of the best non-overtly-sexual Miranda pieces I've ever seen.
I love Miranda. I think she's sexy *and* an amazing character. Miranda ain't ashamed of that, so why should I be?

Unfortunately, I fail to see your reasoning here. 
As for being "too sexualized," Miranda is a very sexual character. This isn't something that the game tries to hide. Look at her outfit; she's out on the battlefield in skintight vinyl and high heeled boots. Zero practicality. Also, there's more than one camera angle in the dialogue scenes that focuses on her "goods". Other characters comment on her looks when she isn't doing it herself. I mean heck, if your male Shepard pursues her romantically, she takes him down to engineering and winds up on top of him flashing her lacy space bra.
Is it sexy? Um, YES.
Her body isn't the only thing that defines her, though. She's ridiculously intelligent, a powerful biotic, great with a firearm, a highly devoted and loving sister (despite her rather unconventional family situation). She was genetically designed to be perfect, but even so, she has her flaws like anyone else. All of these qualities make her wonderful to me.
I'm rambling. But, when it comes right down to it, I'd have to disagree with your statement. I think it's a sexy, somewhat "cheesecake" pose, but not overly so. She's 100% clothed, her hands are completely visible and not touching anything inappropriate, and she's not showing off what so many of her fans refer to as "DAT ASS."
On that note: do a search for her on DeviantART and sort by most popular of all time. Four out of six of the pics in the top row are showcasing her rear end and/or her chest. Compared to so many other images of her floating around out there, this is nothing.
