I applaud male nude art, esp. when there are strong aesthetics
values evident - many educated straight men
do, of course. However, The male nude in western art has
been usually been idealized by artists, perhaps even more than the female.
The male nude emphasizes idealized male figures, primarily
- invariably perhaps - from the effects of, or moments in athletic activity.
The nude itself, M/F, has just about been the most
popular subject in western art for > 2k years,
despite the objections and restrictions of a certain institution... but that
certainly never inhibited the production even in Italy, needless to say,
just the aesthetic values ...

Beautiful. The lighting works wonderfully with the pose. The only problem area I see is the space between the relaxed arm and the chest. I'm guessing its something from the curtains in the back, but it detracts from the flow of the area -maybe darkening/burning the space so it receds into the back? Overall a gorgeous piece -my compliments to you and the model

I agree. Females have soft, sensual curves, but female nudes are too overdone. The Male figure has the air of strength and sensuality, and needs more press!
