I visited it last winter! It deserves to be seen! U.U in the evening there are street artists that play music, or draw the street! *.* I want to live there!
( Canova is from my same region... oh! I've just realized that if we bring him back to life I can speak to him in dialect! *.* It must be something amazing!)

What if they turn out to be siblings? Will people abandon ship?
Man, are there any fictional characters that are NOT shipped these days?

Oh well, let's hope they don't! Mostly because that plot twist was already done before in this same franchise, and it would be quite lazy. But if they end up related, sigh... We'll make do and keep on with another subject XD

I wouldn't be surprised if they would. Considering that Force Awakens felt like a rehash of Episode IV and I felt like it lacked originality and creativity and quite lazy written.

I guess the makers were under a lot of pressure. Can you imagine it? This is a whole legacy that has run across generations, and they had the pressure of the amazing first trilogy and the so-hated prequels, that on top of having to meet Disney expectations and at the same time pleasing the non-disney fans. Satisfying the both the younger and the older audiences, making something new but at the same time pulling the thread of nostalgia.
With all this considered, I think they did a superb job, and I enjoyed this movie way, way more than the others, I don't know exactly why. Perhaps I liked the characters more this time ^^

Actually, Disney had nothing to do with this. They didn't make the movie and they're not really allowed to. But that's a common misconception. So this is not a Disney movie, this is a Lucasfilm movie.
However, making a rehash of an old movie is not good at all. Films are about art, not nostalgia. And money, box office and awards should never be a priority. I can actually understand why George Lucas did not like this movie. Even Mark Hamill criticized the movie for similar reasons.
To be honest, I liked the prequels more than this movie. Because even though the prequels were poorly directed, I respect them for embracing originality and creativity (they also had the best fight scenes, the best music score and the lightsabers were better than in the originals).
I respect your opinion. But if you ask me, they should never have made this movie in the first place.

Oh, it's okay ^^ To each their own tastes! Personally, I'm a bit happy that George Lucas couldn't put his hand this much into the new movies, because even thought I deeply admire him (he's a visionary!), I'm not very fond of the way he runs some of his ideas (cough cough, Padme's way of dying? She just gave up on life? An incredibly brave, talented, duty-driven and resourceful woman who's given birth to her two babies, knowing that they depend on her, and she just... looses her will to live? Come on, that was unforgivable George).
On my part, nostalgia was not needed so I agree with you on that. I actually liked the prequels, though it's been long since I saw them. Truth is, I always go to watch a movie with low expectations, specially if there's a huge hype. Imo, the most important thing about movies is to be entertaining and drag the viewer to another reality, even just for an hour and half

It is possible to die like that. If you're in extreme shock (having the love of your life attempting to kill you and knowing the atrocities he has recently committed, such as killing countless of innocent people, children included. Must be a heavy emotional shock) and in a lot of pain (I can only imagine how painful child birth can be) at the same time, it can kill you. And losing the will to live can even increase the chances of dying. So I find nothing wrong with that. The only wrong thing I admit is that her death was a bit rushed. Nevertheless, I love that scene. Because it kind of represents both beginning of despair (Anakin's last spark of redemption caving into itself as he becomes trapped inside a dark cybernetic armour) and beginning of an era of hope (the birth of the Skywalker twins).
Personally, I think they should have had Lucas to work with the writers. Maybe then, we would have seen something different and new.
But yeah, I rarely watch movies in cinemas unless it's something which I'm a fan of. And I decided not to go see the new SW movie because I'm more of an Expanded Universe fan.
Sorry about my bad English.
