Description
Another character from mine and 's superhero universe.When I thought of this character, most of the villains we had made up had either A) Had a change of heart and joined the good guys, or B) Were pretty sympathetic villains. So I decided I wanted to create a villain who you could NOT sympathize with. Someone who would "burn down a building full of orphans just to hear the nuns scream."
And thus, General Grim was born.

Like a Disney movie, the moral of a Jupiter City story is usually not to judge a book by its cover. Though they may be vicious and craven, even bloodthirsty, we recognize that a supervillain is a person who had to be very desperate to turn their lives in that direction. General Grim is different-- he is a full-fledged bogeyman. He is a homicidal maniac who would be more at home in his own series of "quip-killer' slasher movies than in a superhero storyline. If he has a deeper motivation for his horrors, some noble impulse buried deep within, we're sure we don't know what it is. He has no coherent backstory, largely because it would be a way to humanize him. Yet he does accomplish one good-- the next cruelest villain looks all the more human when silhouetted against Grim.
