Description This is my half of an art trade with
This is my version of his OC (original character) Daystar.
I will probably give this some color and update it later....if I get the time on the computer.
Sketched, then inked on cardstock.
Edit~Colored on photoshop 4.0 elements
Wanted to try a few new things with my coloring.
I've seen a lot of artist use the white border around the character outline and kind of liked it.
Also the small black border within the picture.
Let me know what you think.
Oh..and since I inked it first...even with the extra details and stuff..it only took about an hour and a half.

As killer as this piece looked in black and white, I just knew that the colored version was gonna' kick some serious booty! I really like the colors you've chosen for her clothes, and the bordered background is very nice! Killer work on the special effects of her right hand! Fabu work!

I wanted to use yellow because of her powers...and grey goes with everything, right? XD
I wanted to get the powers more...electricy...but I had no idea how to do that...so I went with more of a yellow flamy feel.

Man! This came out so well! I really like how you've drawn her in such an original pose, and I love the clothes you've given her! Great work on styling her hair, and I really like her choker that she's wearing! You simply have to color this amazing piece! PLEASE! Truly excellent work, and an instant fav!
