Little lizard that we saw on the way back down from Tajumulco. I did not make it to the top of Tajumulco because I was sick.Sceloporus smaragdinus

Well I am unfamiliar with lizards outside of the U.S. This one is gorgeous though!

I tried looking it up on google but had no idea where to start besides "Guatemalan lizard, green with blue tail, near Tajulmulco." Nothing. A couple of anoles showed up.
*shrug*
They've got some really neat wildlife down there for sure.

Oh wait! I was looking up Fence Lizards on google, I thought it was, but Google was being limited at first only showing me species in the U.S. I reworded my search and found it though, its a Sceloporus smaragdinus, www.authenticmaya.com/reptiles…
