This is Stheno and Eurayale, sisters' of Medusa; .. All of whom art the children of Phorcys and Ceto; and Phorcys and Ceto are also brother and sister. *barf* The link below explains their relationship.

So there you have a little background explaining my choices for background images... I started to make these two standing in a cave, but did not like the results so looked for another background; it was then, after choosing which background appealed to me, seeing it was of the 'sea', and doing a bit of research into whether or not these two were related somehow to the sea ( because not much information at all is out there regarding these two sisters' of Medusa's ) .. and lo and behold I was quite surprised to learn they not only did, but their family foundation originates from a sea background.
Quite a lot of fun, this one was.

NOTE: For the record,.. I mostly try to make my photomanipulations come across a traditional paintings... they tend to differ from the typical manipulations, for that reason.
