After a long absence, the Tomboyish Mermaid makes an appearance once more in the gallery
This day, I was in the mood to put myself to shame. Of course I'm not talking about the actual me, instead I'm talking about the past version of me. What do I mean by this? Well, I decided to re-work one of my older artworks, to compare how much I've improved over these years

I do this often. Somedays, while I'm sketching, I like to re-do some of my older drawings to see progress with my own eyes. But the difference is that this is gotta be the first time that I choose a previously submitted artwork and make it new. You can be sure this is the way I pictured it in my head, even the first time I made it, I just didn't have the skills to make it look like that

Misty was one of my favorite characters back in the day. I was really disappointed when she got replaced by May.

I wish I could say I only hate him because he replaced Brock, but.... HE IS SO FREAKING ANNOYING.
The Gen 5 for the Pokemon show is the "black sheep" of the series. XD

I agree with you so much. They couldn't give us cress or chilli. NOPE. they gave us the most annoying and weird looking one( i don't like his eyes) who talks in cooking related dialogue and the worst part is that my favorite former voice of sonic voices him! (Griffith)

Very cool, love how the Staryu is jumping right out from the water!

Oh yes! In fact I was thinking on the talk we had about environment last time when I was doing it. I always pictured Staryu jumping from the ground in the original, but you couldn't the the force or direction at all, also it seemed more fitting for him to do that, water type, like jumping out of a pool or sea to fight.
It's a simple example of it, but I think it makes it look better, right?

Well actually. I'm trying to do that right now with most of my gallery. But I could go back earlier I suppose, just to prove it more...that at least might be a nice confidence booster.

I tried at least once a year, or mostly when I was feeling stuck in something. It was a nice way to clear my mind
