Ok so I'm sure some sap will call this emo, and I really don't care. It really all that sad, it's more just like a lonely picture.
I like the high contrast, it's becoming more and more a part of my style with everything. I love the graphic work and simplistic and stylized pieces.
I do want some feedback though on a few things in the picture though, specifically the wispy windy lines... I'm curious to see if people think it's too much or just right, or if there would be a better way to suggest wind.
Also at first I was gonna have the cat leaping about the bottom of the tree but then choose to go with the more subtle waiting cat. What do you think would've been better.
Again I just want to say please don't steal this art work, I have a lot of angst in posting here on DA, it's why I stopped a while back.Thankyou.

Aww i love this! I agree with DreamersReality, happy in a sad way, Its meaning changes depending on the mood you are in. I love the tree branches and the leaves.

I simply adore this piece.
Great colours, wonderful simple lines - and the sitting cat is a better choice in my opinion.
The leaves stole by the wind give a pretty nice concept on how the love melts when it's not being appreciated.
I like the whole Idea.

We all have days when we are sad yet happy. The colours are vivid and warm... but the black kind of off sets it, makes it more mellow and as if the guy is in thought.
Which is what I like.

I believe the wispy lines does this piece justice. Nice contrast to the pure black silhouettes.
Perhaps having two cats in it would be neat. That's what I'd do
