Hello, I'm from ProjectComment . 

This robot character certainly popped out to me as I was scrolling down through the images. I have to say I do like their expression. It’s very nice, not only on their mouth and gesture, but also their eyes as well. I like how they’re drawn to add even more character into this robot. Shading wise you did a good job on the very bright metallic parts, adding a shine to it show it’s shiny. Especially on the darker part, this helps contrast the materials a bit from one another. With the word GOLD behind them, you can still tell what the word is- especially by the title (it seems fitting since there is gold coming out of their legs).

I would say add in some simple shadows here or there to add in depth to this picture, or at least the character. It can be just one tone here, to compliment the character’s shinning bits, and it’ll look nice either way. Not too dark, just right. The glowing energy effect on the parts look a bit dull, try using a very bright or sharp purple here, and lower the opacity a bit to make it look like it’s a light source. It’ll certainly work well with the picture (maybe even utilize the color dodge a bit).

Overall you’ve done a good job. It leads one to think and question how gold is coming out of them, and if they cut themselves (or if someone cut them). I especially wonder if they looked at it, and realized they were made of gold in awe. The shines look well, they’re placed appropriately, and the overall position adds to the character of the bot, making it more human like.
