I always thought the same too. Another good thing that would come of them being together would be how it would make the comics and the GC truly non-canon as they should be.

Indeed, and I feel that (like the GC) it contradicts things from the original series and makes changes I don't care for (like making Lexington gay when it was show he had feelings/attraction for women in the show, including Angela).

Mhm, I'm always against characters suddenly being gay all of a sudden just because the writer(s) no longer have network restrictions and/or when it's announced in some sort of statement by the author and not really even hinted at or developed in the story (like for instance with J.K. Rowling and her saying that Dumbledore was gay). I have absolutely no problem with gay characters, but (like with any heterosexual pairing) it has to be well-developed and well-written....which a lot of times I find that they aren't :/ Of all the homosexual pairings that I've seen before on TV or whatever, about the only one that I think was really handled all that well or written well was Willow and Tara on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and even then it had some issues, mostly on Willow's end...

There is also the matter of Nico Di Angelo of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, at least it was shown he did not have any interest in female attraction so it made more sesne for him to revealed as gay. At least having Lexington be bisexual would have made more sense. Unlike with Nico, Dumbledore never had any indication at all to being gay (or even bi) and it seemed he was very close with McGonagall. To have only brought it up with no trace being in the books and saying it only after the series ended was so out of place.

I'd heard about that one, and yeah, at least there's that little detail. I feel though that if a character is going to be a sexual orientation that isn't the "default" so to speak (IE, the same as the vast majority of the human race), then it should be something that's brought out alongside the introduction of the character and early on in their development...not suddenly sort of thrown in quite a bit after the fact...
The only thing that even remotely implied Dumbledore being gay in the books was that biography by Rita Skeeter, which was basically a magazine tabloid in book form...and in addition we know just how little Rita Skeeter cares for actual facts and how she completely twists or even fabricates a story in order for it to be sensationalized drivel >_> Bringing it up after everything is finished and in a manner like that is just poor world building and writing.

I love Brooklyn and Angela together as a couple no matter what anyone says. This is a very cute picture and one of my favorites. Angela looks pretty in her cute maternity outfit. Her and Brooklyn look very happy together. Great Artwork! You got skills -thumbs up-

It seems that you, me, and Lioness-gargress here are part of a small club that likes this pairing. (Be careful around Mommyspike or Bri-chan though. Sata fans till death. However, you should check out Spikes "many loves of Brooklyn". Its hilarious)
