Kindness: Nia is a very kind, she is always willing to help out others. She always tries to treat everybody in her court with kindness and respect. That is if they treat her the same way, because then she would most likely try to avoid anybody who is rude or hateful towards her.

Curious: Nia is always wanting to learn new things. If she sees something out of the ordinary she absolutely has to know what is or what is going on. Even though her curiosity can be helpful at times, it can also sometimes get her into trouble.

Humorous: Nia is the kind who loves to joke around sometimes, especially if she is around her friends or others she knows very well. At any chance she gets she will take the opportunity to make a joke about something.

Timid: Even though Nia seems pretty out-going in reality she can be a bit shy. She doesn’t like to open up to others that she has just met, or act herself around them. She usually keeps silent, you usually have to earn her trust for you to see her true self.

Envious: Nia can actually get pretty envious of others. For example if somebody manages to catch more prey than her she will get jealous and wish that she had caught more prey. Because of this she sometimes thinks that she isn’t good enough, and is horrible at everything.

Irritability: Nia cannot stand others that are obnoxious or annoying. She tries to avoid others like that, because she can get angry pretty fast even though he doesn’t really tend to show it that much.

BACKSTORY

Kithood:               Nia was born into a litter of three, although one of her litter mates died a couple days after they were born. Nia’s was born into the Summer Court although her father was from the Spring Court. Nia never really knew her father that well, and he wasn’t really a part of her life, but she was really close to her mother Hester. Nia and her mother were always spending time together, she looked up to her mother all the time and she wanted to be exactly like her when she grew up. Although all this happiness came to a sudden stop. Nia’s mother became very ill, so ill that she could barely walk or eat. Nia stayed by her mother’s side everyday hoping that she would get better, but it seemed as if every day she got sicker and sicker. Nia’s brother, Zeke, on the other hand didn’t lift one paw to help their mother get better. Because of that Nia and Zeke were constantly arguing with one another. Nia spent the rest of her days as a kit trying to help her mother get better, but her help didn’t seem to help at all.

Student:              Shortly after Nia became a student her mother had passed away. This event impacted Nia greatly, she told herself that she should have done more to help her mother. Because of this event Nia when she first started out as a student did very poorly in her training. Although during this time she had found her familiar Raina. When Nia had met Raina, Nia was very depressed because of her mother’s death. Everyday Raina tried all she could to brighten up Nia. Because of this Nia and Raina formed an unbreakable bond. They both had very similar personalities, and they were best friends. Because of Raina, Nia’s training improved and she was less depressed about her mother’s passing. When Nia started to come close to becoming a combatant she had been walking in the woods trying to find her brother. Her brother was always getting into trouble, but this time her brother had done the unspeakable. Nia had come across her brother as he killed a bird. Nia was horrified, as she was about to run back to the camp Zeke had jumped at her and they got in a fight. When Nia had escaped her brother’s reach she dashed back to camp, she hadn’t even noticed that her shoulder was badly wounded. She told everybody what had happened and her brother had been exiled since he was still pretty young. Nia now has a scar on her right shoulder from where her brother had clawed her from their fight.

Combatant:        Shortly after the incident with her brother Nia had finally become a combatant. She had been really excited that she had finished her training at last. Nia’s life was pretty easy going, she obeyed the Summer Court and she did everything she could for it. Luckily for her nothing too major has happened to her like what has happened in the earlier years on her life.

Kind:      Like Nia, Raina is really kind. Especially when it comes to Nia because of what Nia has been through Raina is always very kind with her. But it is not just with Nia, Raina cares about everyone around her.

Curious:               Raina is always getting into things she shouldn’t be because of her curiosity. She gets into trouble easily, and most of the time Nia has to help her get out of whatever she had gotten herself into. She knows that this can get Nia mad sometimes, but she can’t really help herself

Irritability:           Raina hates it when somebody is being annoying. It makes her pretty mad, and she can’t stand it. If she gets mad she will most likely go away so she can be by herself and try to calm down.

Coward:               Even though she tries to act tough, she is a pretty big coward. She can get spooked pretty easily and usually counts on Nia to help her out in almost every situation.

From The Frozen Lands

    Heatherpaw gazed around the frozen landscape, her eyes sparkled with fascination as she looked around at everything. She was on a hunting trip with her mentor, her sister, and her sister’s mentor. She hopped around in the snow while she looked for prey, she dug little hole in the snow with her paws to see if any prey was burrowed underneath the white blanket of snow. Heatherpaw twitched her nose as a snowflake landed on it she then looked around her and she realized it was beginning to snow. She looked around and she spotted her mentor in the distance she bounded over to him and she looked up at the sky and she noticed how it was beginning to snow heavier by the minute. They were quite far away from camp and she hoped that they would get back before it begun to snow heavier. Heatherpaw’s mentor signal that they should head back to camp right away, she nodded her head and she started to head back with him. As it started to snow heavier Heatherpaw had to narrow her eyes so she could see without getting snow in them. A shiver went down her spin as a cold blast of wind hit her square in the face. She looked at her mentor as if expecting him to do something, he was looking at some rocks.

                “Quick over to those rocks, be may be able to find shelter in them.” He spoke in a firm voice as he trudged through the snow to get over to them. Heatherpaw nodded and she followed him towards the rocks, she then spotted her sister and her mentor heading in the same direction. Heatherpaw’s eyes saddened slightly as she noticed how cold her sister looked. Soon they all reached the rocks and they huddled together to stay warm, they all didn’t even notice that Breezepaw wasn’t with them.

                Once the snow started to cease, they exited their small shelter and they looked around them. Heatherpaw’s eyes widened when she noticed Breezepaw was nowhere to be seen. “Breezepaw?” Her breathe quickened when she heard no answer, “Breezepaw?!” Heatherpaw frantically looked around the area, the mentors were searching as well.

“I swear she was right behind me when we were walking towards the rocks…” Breezepaw’s mentor said quietly. Heatherpaw then noticed a small lump in the snow and she ran over to it, and she started to dig into it. Her eyes widened in horror when she saw the frozen body of her sister.
