The Resonant Road involves just that: resonance, or reverberation of sound/vibrations in both an offensive and non-offensive manner. It borrows some qualities from the Gaia Road with the use of vibrations and its interaction with the riding surface; however, it branches primarily off from the qualities of Ring Road in its use of sound and rhythm. Using/manipulating sound waves and vibrations to create a sonar-like element, riders can get a vivid sense of their surroundings especially if they can’t quite see everything that is going on. Kinsley uses this to ride with her eyes closed or backwards (and awkwardly stare down her opponent if ahead of them). In a similar aspect, riders can use an offshoot of the Ring Road’s ability to sense the rhythm of other riders to locate and target weak points in both their person and AT’s.

To use the road in an offensive manner, one merely has to redirect the use of sounds and vibrations into a more concentrated means. In simplest of forms, this involves using small pulses of sound or tremors to interrupt the proper function of opponents’ AT’s. With intensified force, concentration, and understanding of the road (along with ways to amplify sound/vibrations), these attacks can pack quite an unseen punch with sonic-boom-like results.

Keen senses of feeling and hearing are important attributes to riders of the Resonant Road. Understanding and knowledge on the internal workings of both people and AT’s comes in handy, too, and so the Resonant Road is likely appealing to tuners who don’t merely wish to occupy a non-offensive role. That’s the entire reason Kinsley came up with this road.

Regalia: Timbre Regalia
The regalia is incorporated into the back wheels of the Air Treks. A mechanism within the rear wheels rotates and reverberates to create varying decibels of sound ranging from a deep hum to a shrill, high-pitch sound almost inaudible to the human ear. It combines noise and vibrations into a concentrated force capable of low, booming quake-like tremors or sharp, cutting sound waves.

||Air Treks:||
Kinsley’s AT’s are the object of intense care and commitment. This doesn’t mean they don’t get their fair share of abuse; she does get carried away sometimes. The front tire gets way more wear and tear because Kinsley primarily uses them for riding. The rear are mostly used as-needed, only. They’re built to withstand the pressure created by the regalia without harming the rider. That said, they aren’t entirely strong, physically, externally. They’re fairly light-weight, created with material meant to help reverberate and enhance sound easily. Due to this, they can break if faced with too many physical blows. They’re about average in maneuverability, if not somewhat cumbersome in size, and only slightly above average in speed. The speakers incorporated into the design are commonly utilized as amps.

Blaire's AT's have undergone a bit of a revamp during the past year. They have changed and been adapted to suit her as she, too, has grown and changed slightly over the passage of time. Over the year, she has intently worked away on them, scrutinized her way of riding, and enhanced her gear to work better and more efficiently. They no longer reach up to her knees in a complex contraption of speakers and bone-like designs. They've simplified some, but they still perform in a similar fashion to her previous design. The only difference now is a slight increase in maneuverability and a slightly less fragile build. The lower number of speakers merely means she has to take it upon herself to make a bigger impact without the help of amps, which she seems intent on doing anyway. She looks to her new AT design as a means of improving herself, pushing herself further as a rider.

||Personality||
Kinsley is stubborn and persistent, putting her all into whatever she puts her mind to. However, she’s childish…almost to a spoiled extent. She’ll say whatever she feels like say, do whatever she feels like doing, and she doesn’t seem to care if anyone else minds. Her mouth and attitude are her main source of trouble, really. Messing with others in whatever way she can is like a game to her, and she likes testing her limits and the limits of others. In all reality, this probably branches from an inferiority complex in which she feels the need to puff herself up and act out. More often than not, she most likely needs to be put in her place, and it wouldn’t be surprising if she respected someone who could do so…within reason. There’s a fairly thin line between what impresses and what irritates her at times. An example of this is the fact that she hates being underestimated or disrespected due to her gender, and yet she has no problem using her gender to her advantage if she can find it helpful somehow.

||History/Team History||
Blaire Kinsley didn’t struggle for much throughout her childhood. She was adopted by a wealthy couple, unable to have children of their own, and hardly was denied anything she wanted. This didn’t mean she didn’t work hard. Her parents expected her to rise above and beyond the limits of children from average backgrounds. They felt that, if she had everything she needed, she shouldn’t have a reason not to be the best. She made high grades throughout school, studied thoroughly, and tried hard to make the best grades so that she didn’t feel inferior to her peers. She had an ear for music and her parents made her take up instruments and such things in hopes that perhaps she would become a “proper” musician.

However, this was all very boring for her. Even with high grades, fellow classmates treated her like she wasn’t accepted or even below them. They teased her for acting prim and proper and avoided her because they accused her of being too bookish. None of them found her ability to play the piano or violin exciting. She watched from the sidelines while they made friends and took part in fun activities: sports, games, etc. The feeling of not being good enough to do what others could do spurred her change in attitude.

She became more outspoken, troublesome, and antagonistic. No longer quiet and reserved, she got the attention of others by doing whatever she could; Kinsley didn’t care whether that attention was good or bad. She found a genuine interest in Air Treks as they grew in popularity, turning her dedication from her studies and instead focusing on learning any and everything about them possible. She found the mechanics and inner workings of the Treks completely enthralling. But she didn’t just want to learn about them; she wanted to ride with them. Using her well-to-do family funds, she invested in her first pair of AT’s. As time went on, she began to search for and buy various parts to customize her AT’s. Like most other situations she encountered in her life, she wanted to have the greatest pair of Treks that she could manage.

It was around her early adulthood that her parents began to push for her to become serious about her future, to choose an occupation that would actually amount to something, which they did not believe she could achieve just by riding AT’s. They thought of Stormriders as nothing more than troublesome children, hoodlums, delinquents…and embarrassing thing for their child to be. Perhaps…she was somewhat spoiled, and she took the role of the average rebellious child. Stubbornly, she insisted on continuing with her Air Trek endeavor. She wanted to ride more, compete, evolve, and excel at it—something she couldn’t do while behind a desk at an office. Kinsley’s parents threatened to disown her if she refused to “grow up”, refusing to support her financially while she wasted her life on a childish past time, but she called their bluff. This eventually resulted in a compromise of sorts: she could continue to live the life of a Stormrider with some financial support from her family as long as she got work of her own, lived on her own. She agreed, although her choice in work was far from what they would have wanted: the life as a simple mechanic. Her initial reason was because she was told she couldn’t because she was a girl. She then found the internal workings of vehicles to be close enough to those of AT’s to be enjoyable work, at least. On the side, she had no argument with helping tune others’ AT’s, too.

She continued to strive for supremacy, struggling for the first time in her life as she fought to become better and better. She quickly found a use for her keen hearing while riding and even began to notice how she could feel how she rode. Kinsley used that in her methods of riding, customized her AT’s to embrace that style of riding, and found that it could definitely be used to her advantage. She was accepted onto various teams here and there but nothing permanent (most likely because of her attitude). With enough work, her reputation grew and she made a name for herself as the Timbre Queen.

She's recently been able to scrap together Calamity Howl, her own small team of misfits whom she's found worthy of either her respect or curiosity. These are people she's either bribed, blackmailed, annoyed, or otherwise "persuaded" to join for the most part. She not only wanted the team to have an entourage, a posse` of sorts to make her feel important, but also just to have people around. She's a shit, but she gets lonely, too. But she wasn't willing to let just anyone fill those shoes. They had to be interesting, amusing, and hold some potential for something great--as long as it wasn't greater than her, of course.

Time Skip: A year has passed and Blaire is still spoiled, immature, and just an overall shit. However, she actually spent the year working hard. Seriously, she was actually putting a lot of effort into what she invested herself in. All in all, it was probably to keep her mind off of the team and changes happening. Everyone merely started slipping through her fingers. One-by-one, they were gone. When Draven just up and left at one point, she realized just how she had become used to having people around. Blaire sulked and moped slightly at that point, taking it personally. She was completely indignant that people could easily just up and leave her, and so she became intent on improving, proving she was something important that couldn't easily be left behind.

In the beginning, this made her more reckless and arrogant. It was all merely puffing herself up. She blindly looked for challenges, picked battles without thinking it through, and took up whatever obstacle she could find. It got to the point where she thought she surely could never lose--that she was one of the few at the tippy-top. But she was wrong, of course. During the time between Vehemence and Windcops, the Timbre Queen fell and watched as Mantis the Toxic King took her throne from her. Needless to say, the damage this caused was more than just anything physical. She was anything but a good sport when it came to losing, especially losing so much.

Humiliated. Devastated. Her ego had been bruised; her pride had been trampled...but maybe it was necessary--a much-needed dose of medicine. After all, it caused her to actually step up her game. It caused her to actually work harder. She spent her time working hard in the shop during the day and working hard on her AT's during the night. Her ass has actually gotten out of the house more often and practiced, trained. Blaire doesn't just ride to toy with others or play some sort of game anymore. She's dead-set on proving she's a force to be reckoned with.
