Ya know I just noticed this but Gira's never interacted with that Swampert despite it (At least I'm assuming) living with her, nor has it gotten it's own little thing that says it's name and nature (At least I don't remember it...) so I can already tell something's up with it.

awsome that you adding back story but my problem is why exactly does she wanna take the challenge on.Besides the sister, what is motivating her to do so? I know this is still just the beginign which means mega improvement over time but just something to consider.
from my pov she just accepted the terms of going to the league just...well for plot. but as usuall still fun to read
