Grandmaster Zac entered the workshop, and glanced around. He had just come from a meeting with Grandmaster Mary, and was now looking forward to spending some quality time with June-La. As usual, the Warrant Officer's work area was a controlled mess."Juney?" Zac called out.
He heard a noise and looked behind him as June-La rolled out from under a jeep she had been working on. Grease was smeared across her face, and oil spots dotted her uniform, but to Zac, she looked as beautiful as ever.
"Zaccy!" June cried out.
She jumped up and threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly. She blushed slightly as she let him go. Grease and oil had rubbed off her and stained his outfit.
"Sorry, Zaccy," June-La said.
"That's alright, Juney," he replied with a chuckle, "It'll come out in the wash."
Grandmaster Zac smiled warmly.
"June, I was wondering if you would like to head to the Officer's Club with me for a few drinks?"
June nodded
"Yes please, Zaccy. Just let me freshen up first."
June-La ran over to a wooden box that sat on her workbench and opened it. Inside was the special bionic hand Zac had made for her. She detached her work hand, and fitted on the special one. With a smile, June-La headed back over to Zac and took his arm in hers, completely unfazed that she was still covered in grime.
"Ready, Zaccy."
The Grandmaster chuckled. If there was one thing about June-La that he loved the most, it was her ability to make him smile with her free spirit. Arm-in-arm, they made their way out of the workshop, eager to enjoy their time together...
