I love how you captured her personalities. They're beautiful. Although, Elsa had the most unrealistic character development out of any Disney character, EVER! Somehow, she went from social anxiety and isolation to perfectly capable of holding her own and then has tons of friends. -_-

Elsa spent most of her life hating herself for her powers. Then, one day, she snapped... and she found something else to hate.

The subject and delivery are very well done: we have the unsure, easily frightened Elsa on the left, and the confident Elsa on the right. Β what a contrast! Β Good job!

Elsa #1: "Conceal, don't feel. Don't let anyone in. They must never know." She's scared of turning into a monster.
Elsa #2: "Now they know. And I am loved anyway. It's good to throw the gloves down." At peace with her powers and sharing them with the world.
My favorite part of the film (spoiler alert) is the end when Elsa thaws the kingdom out of its eternal winter back to summertime, then later with a schoolgirl's laugh shouts to the crowd "Ready?" as she turns the castle courtyard into an ice rink. The joy over her powers that she had as a little girl is back! The whole thing had me in tears because it was so sweet.

The end of the movie mirrors the beginning: Anna couldn't get Elsa to play, until she tempted her into using her snow powers. Β Elsa yielded quickly, because she always wanted to use her powers to enhance their play. Β At the end, Elsa uses her powers to help her play with her people as well as with her sister. Β
There were so many great parts to the film, and all of them had Elsa in them, but her look of joy on her face just before she freezes the fountains and does the snow-burst sky rocket... man, I never felt happy for a Disney princess more than that moment!
While I agree the film would have been improved with Elsa finding a prince, I recently came to the conclusion that, as a wise Queen, Elsa would have to fix the broken loves first before moving on to find one for herself: Her key problem was controlling her powers, and her inability led to the broken love with her sister, and then to the broken love between herself and her people. Β Here's this noble, self-sacrificing, beautiful person lost to them, and the movie centers on restoring this person back to them. Β

You said it perfectly. I just saw that clip on YouTube right now, and the look of joy on Elsa's face as she brings on the ice rink and just before she freezes the fountains had me crying all over again.Β Β
Off all the characters in the film, Elsa was the one I was cheering for the most, even more than Anna. She's a Snow Queen everyone can relate to. Despite her awesome powers, she is so human--strengths, weaknesses and all. Despite violently repressing her powers out of fear and regret, Elsa was truly a noble, beautiful woman inside and out who had the best interests of her sister in mind. And it took Anna's persistence, stubbornness and unconditional love to bring out that nobility.
As for finding a prince, after discovering what Prince Hans had in mind all along, murderous ambitions and all, I would gather she would find a nobler partner among the commoners just like Anna did.
