New hair for the month!This isn't really what I originally had planned, but I can't get the old teal and purple colors light enough to dye over with anything but cool colors... plus I really wanted to try out MP's new color, Electric Amethyst - which is beautiful (it's the color towards the front, framing my face).

I only bleach my roots as they grow in. I try not to overlap the bleach onto parts of the hair that have already been lightened before... I can get most of the dye to fade out enough that I can dye over with any color.

I usually do new colors every 6-8 weeks. It stops looking very good after about 4 weeks, then I spend another couple of weeks washing out as much color as possible before I redye.

when i had the red hair i coloured too all 8 weeks ... hm

I sure wish I had someone as talented as you to dye my hair. I live in a country (and super small town) where you don't find ANY unnatural hair dye. And when I see these gorgeous Manic Panic colors I want to cry.

Yes, it's horrible!! The only salon brand we have is Goldwell's Elumen. Their purple lasted so long in my hair, but I couldn't afford it anymore. Having it done at the salon every few weeks just got too expensive for me.
I've tried importing some Manic Panic, but our customs had so many issues. Just can't win. Lol.
But in the meantime your beautiful photos totally cheer me up.

Turquoise fades pretty quick (about two weeks) in my hair. Darker blues last a bit longer, between a month and a half to three months.

I dyed my hair blue (dark blue) but it fades to turquoise in about two weeks. Gonna try Manic Panic

I'd recommend either Shocking Blue or After Midnight blue. What brand were you using before? Good luck!

I'm using Salerm, It has a nice colour, but fades away very quickly. I've heard that Manic Panic is really good.

Interesting, I have never heard of it! Unfortunately a lot of semi-permanent colors fade quite quickly... if you're okay with branching out a little more, 'n Rage is actually the best brand I've found for longevity. I've used their twisted teal and cobalt blue colors, which stayed vibrantly for 6 months!

I guess Salerm only exists in my country. Unfortunately, it's very hard to find Manic Panic or other brands. I only found Manic Panic on Internet, so I wondered if it was really good, or at least better than the brand I'm using.

Well - this was the original plan: [link] - but since the previous blue/purple I had in my hair wouldn't fade out, I wouldn't have been able to get a very pretty yellow or orange, so I went with something completely different. I'm happy with it though - and glad you like it too!
