I'm posting this lil scene I drew of ~CisneNegro characters from his online comic "el jove lovecraft" (the young lovecraft). Some of you may remember the pinup piece I did of them... [link] it's one of my most faved deviation, these are very funny to draw

cisne told me about it, I'm so glad that this 'meeting' ends up with what sounds like a very promising bluboy piece
by the way, I've been thinking about my bluboy pinup and as I think it's impossible to beat up your inking-plain color design... maybe I make all the characters with elaborate shading to give volume and a different style somehow... or should I make a plain inking/coloring style?

I know what you mean and the struggle you are having...
And yes if you give the image some shading and depth that would look awesome... For lighting I like to see each piece with a simple light source. As if in a dark room lit by one candle. If that helps??
Think like your making a book cover or something...maybe you pick some off the wall style or design to do it in?

Oh, BTW I could beat myself up!!!
While inspired to do that CrossOver of LoveCraft, instead of copying first one of my Blu comics to work over, I started working on top of one directly...of corse no backup to it. Just my PSD versions not the illustrator formats and accidently saved over and closed, without reverting it. It was my "To Be Alone" daily comic!!!
Now I have to re draw it some time... argh!

Lovecratf is great! And a "how he could look like as a child" is a wonderful idea foor a comic! Do one and publish it ^^
