final concept made on alias studiotools, rendered in bunkspeed. This was my final Major project for my degree, along with a 1/4 scale clay model of this design.il post up the final cad along with the clay eventualy, but couldnt resist putting this up now

not to be a jerk "cause i hate it when people make negative posts" but doesn't Mercedes make the McLaren engines? or is there a reason you put the BMW badge on there?

The original F1 had a bmw engine, and rather than using the heavy v12 they already produce i went back to the BMW route and choose the S85 V10 Engine used in the BMW M5
I realy wanted to pull away from the McLaren-Mercedes connection for this as thats not what the original F1 was about.

I think it looks just a bit too cartoony for some reason. Still sharp and an excellent render, but you can tell somehow that's it cg.... I haven't the slightest on how you would get the realism up higher so don't ask, I just calls em hows I sees ems
