this is `meredith 's character maeve... the skirt-fading-into-border thingie was inspired by one of meredith's own works ^^ she's awesome.done with tria markers, van gogh colored pencils, gouache and acrylic (for the blues in the bg mostly) and a lovely little black pen for the lineart. tweaked the colors a little in photoshop, mostly because the scan looked bad and picked up a lot of texture which actually isn't visible in normal light.

Wow... I love the colors you've chosen. They're so warm, and they definitely give her a sense of life. I especially like the texture shown, even if you didn't intend for it, it looks real nice. I like the saturated shading on her hair too.

It's kind of ironic because I have a character named Maeve, who has silver hair. {or could. She's a ancestor of my other character - Erelith, who has silver hair, and who I pictured in the bottom half of the outfit for the longest time. Or, so I tried to. Thanks for helping my head figure that one out
