Description This is a rare double sided Ogham set (pronounced O-Wam) made out of sacred and revered Ash wood. On one side is the woodburned Ogham letter I have used scale number 89 from the 14th century Book of Ballymote. On the reverse side of the Ash tile is an image of the leaf or tree the Ogham letter represents. This makes them very beautiful but also practical for learning the Ogham runes and their associtions with sacred trees. The box custom-made to match is woodburned with the Celtic tree of life which is fitting to match with Ash that represents the world tree or Ygdrasil.

Both your craft and generosity in sharing powerful knowledge are impressive.Β
Some things may no longer work in the future but runes will as they always did.

Ogham is an old Irish form of writing that has also been found in Wales and other 'Celtic' countries. There are hundreds of different styles to write the alphabet in, I believe the one used for these runes is refered to as fish-tail.
