Because I couldn't find one....

Ok, so, this happened a couple of times to me. Mostly in real life. I'd be drawing and somebody character and somebody would come up to me and say something along the lines of:

"ZOMG, YOUS LIEKZ VAMPIRES! IZ THAY VAMPIRES?! DO YOUS LIEK TWILIGHT?"

....0_o "Ok, leave me alone....."

I do like vampires, I've read Twilight and It wasn't my thing because I had hoped it would have an interesting plot line, (because the whole secret vampire family thing sounded cool) but it didn't. Although I believe if Twilight was seriously about Pixies (girl moves to forks, finds out the family living next door are actually badass pixies (with pointy ears and everything! XD) and then the story proceeds with no love at first sight and an interesting, twist plot line possibly going on to some sort of romance near the end....but then, it wouldn't be twilight...)

Anyway, in my story Dreamscape, there are Demons, not vampires (because really, at the moment everybody is jumping on the vampire bandwagon and I believe demons are far more mysterious, under written and interesting...) For example, on of my characters, Saheriel, is a half demon. He has fangs, because it's one of the few physical distinguishing features my demons have when they're in their human form. They serve a purpose, which rather bluntly, is to rip flesh off bone while they take a persons soul. (Thankfully, Saheriel uses a technique which means he continuously takes tiny pieces of energy from everybody he meets. Meaning he doesn't have to starve himself until he goes mental and kills somebody. )

I can't be the only person who has characters with fangs who are sick of other people calling them vampires....
