An illustration project for a book cover. I loved Brian Jacques' Redwall series growing up, (still do sorta) And Mossflower was my favorite book so I decided to take a shot at the cover. Its of Martin the Warrior coming out of Brockhall. Not quite what i envisioned Brockhall to look like but i think this full frontal shot makes for a striking cover.Related content

Brian Jacque is really a good writer.
The Duncton Wood's serie with Bracken the mole by W. Horwood is also really nice.

Mossflower was my favorite. I stopped reading the series around Triss or Tagarung or something.
Beautiful illustration, I was like what the heck is going on with the sword until I remembered it was broken. My favorite bits which I think are the best parts are the fabrics and the tree, I especially love the tree.

Oh, gosh, I remember reading Redwall in middle school and early high school years. I think Martin the Warrior was my favorite, but it made me cry so much. You did an absolutely awesome job on this, by the way! Great work. I kind of saw Brockhall in a very similar light, so don't feel too off about it. Definitely some nice work ^__^
