Description
Something personal. Wanted to do something with a limited colour palette and a fantasy setting. Used pretty much every tool, from 3d stuff in blender, to stock and mostly painted elements to get this done. Things changed quite substantially from early sketches, but I wanted to develop this as I went along. Maybe I'll plan ahead more next time^^Hope you like it!

Truly stunning art, I too love the limited color palette, especially these golden, red, brown, orange choices. Very dramatic, and the lighting rocks!

Weitere Sachen sind schon in Arbeit, bis ich aber wieder zu sowas komme wirds aber noch ein wenig dauern

Habe auch schon mal mit Panzern gearbeitet (in erster Linie aber Scifi) - historische Szenen schrecken mich noch immer ab, da ich da sehr... authentisch sein müsste und ich dann ewig lange für ein Modell brauchen würde und die Zeit habe ich momentan leider nicht. Bei den Schiffen arbeite ich mit mehr Freiheiten (u.a. weil ich es in ein "fantastisches Setting" verlagere, bzw. es dort nicht so sehr auffällt), bei Panzern wäre man näher dran beim Fahrzeug, wo Unstimmigkeiten mehr auffallen. Vl kauf ich mir mal 3d-Modelle und überarbeite diese für ein paar Szenen, mal schauen

If you see a Giant with "highend" clothes you know you face something serious.
As long as they wear just "cavemen shit" you can expect not much brain and society behind the Giant.

The giant's looking off to the side. It'd be funny of he just kept walking and never noticed the warrior standing there and went right by him.
"Ho, there, giant! I am here to,...... heyyyy!"

The giant had counted on an easy victory. After all, it was just one Human warrior, against a giant taller than trees with enough strength to crush him into paste with his mace.
What the giant DIDN'T count on, however, was the warrior getting the nearby village he had been bullying into digging a hole at the path the giant would be taking onto the field, creating a pit with poison-tipped stakes at the bottom, big and deep enough for him to fall into, covered up just well enough that he would never notice it as he marched forward at his height.
Needless to say, the Human warrior got to boast about how he managed to beat a Giant without swinging a sword in the years to come, though those from the village would grumble about how he took all the credit with his idea while they did most of the work actually making it happen.
