Description Fall
By James Gentry

Fall comes,
Valiant and graceful,
Mellow tunes,
And weather unfaithful.

The leaves they turn,
With glorious uncertainty,
Falling like rain,
In an endless array of beauty.

The chill rises,
Through summers burn,
Slowly with gradual progression,
Seeping through our skin.

Reminding us,
Winters to begin,
As the weather changes these hollow hearts,
Let fall never end.

The season of change,
From summer to winter,
A graceful progression,
Of beauty to December.

This is probably one of your best works yet. And I’m being seriously serious here; it’s beautiful, it flows and it creates a pretty nice mental picture in the reader’s mind, as far as poetry goes.

So give yourself a pat on the back, ‘cause you just created a pretty sweet piece of poetry.
