"Our village has been isolated for centuries on the tops of huge mountains, our people have always thought that under the clouds the surface was barren and full of horrible evils. It's sad, we've all been missing out, I've never seen a city such like Warfang before, It's beautiful", Elora said reaching her gloved hand out to touch the soft tall grass as she passed it by.
Bianca smiled sadly ,"I know what it's like being isolated from the outside world, Sister. I was holed up in a castle most of my life...but everything happens for a reason. As cruel as she was if it weren't for the Sorceress I wouldn't have learned magic", The Lapine looked over at the Fawn, her smile kinder.
Elora however didn't return her smile, but her ever present stern expression softened a bit and she gave a nod of understanding. The Fawn rarely smiled anymore, not after the attack on her village that tore her family apart and drove her to leave the safety of her village to fight in the gruesome war against Malefor. Bianca put her hand on the Fawn's shoulder making her flinch, not used to the sudden contact. "You're a powerful warrior and your father would be proud. I am honored to call you my Sister", Bianca said, hoping to raise the broken Fawn's spirits.
Elora looked off and fell silent, a hint of sadness in her eyes. Bianca patted Elora's shoulder and kept her hand there as they walked farther from the Warfang walls to meet up with Hunter.
Several minutes pass and there is a loud booming voice up ahead, shouting angrily at someone or something. The girls quicken their pace to see what this commotion is about. Suddenly from the noises' source a large fireball barreled towards them. Elora yelped and shielded herself, certain she was going to be reduced to a pile of ash. Not a second passes and the intense heat from the fire disappears. The Fawn peeks passed her gauntlets and sees a large blue bubble shield has surrounded the two. Bianca glares over at their assailants as the magic shield she conjured dissipates and extinguishes the fire around them.
Up ahead two large blue and green reptilian beasts approach the girls, one a quadruped, the other a bipedal that held a large broken branch to use as a club. Elora quickly brings out her spear making the reptilians halt, but they both grin at them.
"Can I bash thems on the head yet boss?", The blue one spoke sounding very unintelligent.
The green one nodded excitedly ,"Bash! Bash! Bash!", it replied showing even less intelligence
"Easy, easy there boys we have guests here, show some hospitality", an unknown voice came from behind them
The girls looked about for the source before looking down between the two large reptiles. A small orange Kobold dressed in expensive magicians robes holding a wand big enough for him to use as a scepter pushed between the monsters and grinned devilishly at the two girls ,"Hello ladies", he said slyly
