yes i love my open holed flute!!! i think they sound better...that's just me. i also play piccolo do you?

They do sound better. I've played piccolo once or twice, but I usually play the flute because my director really needs me to.

Hahaha! Our piccolos have the SAME PROBLEM! It's the worst when you go to the notes that the flute and picc can hit, and they're off by, like, a millimeter!

Yeah, none taken, I'm a junior, and our freshmen suck just as bad...when they actually play. >.< I'm always trying to tell them to tune their instruments, for God's sake!

oh i know what you mean our second flutes are always out of tune!!!! my director is like "ask the easter bunny for a tuner" then everyone started laughing!!! i'm a senior this year can't wait till school is over 33 more days yay!!!! anyway.......are whole freshman group of freshman flutes suck

Lol, I love when people ask me who my favorite bands are, and I'm like, "30 Seconds to Mars, My Chemical Romance, Beethoven, Metallica..." XD Bach rocks!! Him, Mozart, and Beethoven are like my top three. And then there's Chopin. I ADORE him!
