Didn't get to mention this last time but meant to. Nice job on the wings -especially their size. Here on DD you see so many people drawing tiny wings and then expecting their characters to be able to fly when even basic physics is laughing in its sleeve. These are actually much closer to the necessary size for lift.

Thank you! That's always been a pet peeve of mine to, so I scale most of my winged characters wings roughly according to how it works with birds. (Each wing tends to be the length of the bird's body or longer). Unfortunately this would not provide sufficient life for a humanoid to actually fly (the wingspan for a human to be able to fly was something over 20 feet x_x ) but at least this looks somewhat more feasible.
I do have a character with tiny wings but alas, poor Jin cannot fly.

Truthfully, I wasn't sure if it was stock or self-made! It looked like a real sky! You really painted that? FANTASTIC! It's mindblowing! -^^-

It was but it was worth it! Let me break down the process for you, some of it was from textures.
1) So I started with a background layer that I painted some color shifts and a weak gradient in. (So that the area around the moon and Luthien would be a tiny bit lighter, whereas the bottom corners would be darker) Over that I put the texture from Sirius-sdz on overlay and lowered the opacity to about 50%, and on another layer over that I put the star-field stock image from Dadrian on luminosity. One satisfied I merged the layers down.
2) Then on that new layer I painted in the base for the clouds, as well as refining/ softening the texture in some spots. This ensured that the stars would not show through the thickest areas of the clouds.
3) After that I made an overlay layer, a multiply layer, and a luminosity layer and painted in the lights, shadows, and mass of the clouds. (Mass first, then shadows, the light) After quite a bit of refining and adding little wisps I merged everything down into one layer. (I had to because the program was chugging a bit because I had about 25+ layers in total for the whole piece)

This came out wonderfully! I absolutely love the wings and her hooded cloak - it's split her wings can move, correct? It looks that way 
Also, the amulet is really pretty

Thank you! Luthien's cloak is split in the back and has a couple of fasteners under her wings so she can get it on and off somewhat easily. (This forms an upsidedown raindrop shape in the back.) The 'skirt' area is split into four for mobility purposes in general.
Thanks! Unfortunately you're right, the only way to make the flowers visible was to make them white. But that's okay, it helped tie the palette of the piece together.
And I gotta draw an image with her amulet closer up, I really like how it came out. >_> (XD so thanks again)

Ah Luthien's wings are a hybrid of draconic bat-wings and more bird-like wings due to her very strange circumstances. (Half-dragon daddy and weird circumstances) So what you're seeing there is the silver membrane that supports her feathers.
